Will it work for the Fusion (its not listed)?

I have been looking into getting that PIE interface for an XM radio. I just called PIE and the guy I talked to seemed kind of vague. He said they work on the Milan- but for some reason not the Fusion. I don't get why it won't work on the Fusion. He said there is a bug in the Fusion's stereo. He really didn't know much else. I don't get it.

I saw a Milan this weekend and the stereo is exactly the same.

How could there be a bug in the exact same stereo?

I know. The guy said they have tried "a few Fusions" and this converter does not work. I have the single disc CD/MP3 with the AUX button. Still, I know both the 6 disc and single disc stereos are the same ones in other Fords. I mentioned this to him. He said "that is what you would think". He wasn't really able to explain other than it was a "bug". But, he gave me his answer quick. He didn't put me on hold or sound like he had to look the question up on a computer. I assume this has come up already. I still don't get it.
