I doubt it. The offset is nearly double in the opposite direction.

I have some 17x9 Cobra wheels that I would love to throw on the Fusion -- I'm going to test fit them when I go home in August.

Based on the offset and the width, those wheels will stick out two full inches from the stock wheels. No way that's going to clear the rear fender. Plus you'd be adding all kinds of extra stress to the bearings and suspension by sticking all that mass way out there.

They will fit... Attached are pics of the BBS RK Rims that came off of my 02 Mustang GT.  They are 18x8.5 with a +25mm Offset.  Tires are 245/40ZR18.  As you can see from the rear shot, the tires do not protrude from the fenderwell.  Rather, they come fairly close to flush and make it look more like the fit found on a European high end sedan.  No modifications were necessary to make these wheels fit straight from my Mustang.  Hope this helps...

Those would look great. I had 17x8 Cobra Rs on my Thunderbird.
