Does anyone have a short shifter installed? If so where is it from, and is there a write-up on the install? I ordered the bushings but I was told that the shifter from a Mazda 6 would not work.

i haven't seen a short throw shifter available for the Fusion yet... but i would certainly think that you could call up the good people at Steeda and order one of their Tri-Ax shifter handles...

it won't really affect the throw, but it won't stick up as high... ya know, give it a cleaner, shorter look.

I purchased a mazda 3 shifter handle and it looks WAAAYYYY better than the stock shifter, and its about and Inch shorter. I will keep with it until I finally put the TWM short shifter in.
