........at the dealership that I bought my car at, I noticed another Fusion in the bay next to mine up on the rack. All of a sudden I hear a door <<<<SLAM>>>> followed by a parade of binders being "Whirly-Birded" across the showroom. I'm thinking W.T.F ! A couple of minutes later the Police arrive and escort the gentlemen off the property with the Fusion that was up on the rack....
I asked the MECH that was changing the oil on my car what happened. From what he understood, The dealership was going to charge him FULL price for Warranty work that in a normal universe would have costed NOTHING. Why you ask ? The dealership was not going to honor the warranty because of the aftermarket suspension that was on the car ? I do not know what was wrong with the Fusion but man it got me thinking......
Well, if the problem that the car was experiencing was directly related to the suspension work, then Ford is in the right. If the problem was NOT caused by the suspension work, Ford has to honor the warranty due to the Mangusson-Moss Warranty Act.
