I'm wanting to buy the black strips to replace the chrome on the doors, and get the black strip for the trunk to replace the chrome. Other than going to the dealership, where can I find those?

Your best bet maybe finding someone around here that has black and wants chrome- and do a swap. Shouldn't be too hard to find. If that doesn't work, here's what I did

I tried using Duplicolor Metalcast paint- which was supposed to give it a silver/gray anodized look. It looked real good until I put on the clearcoat, which didn't cover or dry well because it was too humid. I ended up just painting the trim a dark gray with Duplicolor paint, which almost matches my car color (Tungsten Silver). You could just use black if you wanted. As for the rear chrome strip, I'd be afraid to paint it, but I like it fine on my car.

I want the chrome on the doors but don't know how easy it is to do. And also would have to convince my wife into doing it also. Where do you live?
