I know they had a hail storm in Louisville that damaged a bunch of them... but the latest 'news' I see is that they started shipping to dealer several weeks ago. I'm in San Antonio and there aren't any here... but I looked at the Louisville/southern Indiana dealer inventories this morning and even they don't have any yet. Depending on where you go around here they say either 'any day now' or 'we have no idea'. Hard for me to swallow 'we have no idea' because if that's true, somebody at Ford (or the dealer) needs to be fired. Anybody have any info?

I looked at what I believe is the first '13 Escape to hit the area last night. Titanium in that funky light green/aqua mist color (not sure what they call it). The color was repulsive from across the showroom but not that bad up close, altho it is an ODD color. The interior is beautimous, and frankly, I think it makes my Taurus interior look cheap. I didn't drive it because I want the missus to be the complete decision maker on this. I can't imagine anyone comparing a '12 to the '13 will buy the older one unless they get just a screaming deal and don't really care about anything other than price. It's an AMAZING difference... and I expect Ford will sell a jillion of them.

As I've posted before, my '08 Fusion was very reliable, but boring. I was in a '10 rental for a month a couple years ago and I though that was 'boring' also. BUT... having now seen the Escape, I'm looking forward to seeing '13 Fusion and hope Ford doe as good a job with that. :p
