Is it me, or has SCION TC become the new Honda??

What I mean by that is that, everytime I take out the Fusion, every SCION wants to Race it?

OK picture this.... 06 Fusion SEL. 2.3 I4, Black, with limo black Tints, 20 inch wheels and the whole HID business. Now to me, that Fusion looks Luxury to me. It doesnt look not even 1% sporty.

Now why do the SCION TC drivers want to race it?

If you ask me, thats stupid. But wait I forgot, The SCION owners are mostly young bucks or they are previous Honda owners.

What is this World coming to?

Not a big fan of the scion-styling is very bland (typical japanese) no awd or V6 and the turning radius is wide, but to be fair the fusion's is to. I've noticed alot of honda/toyota owners mostly people my age (teens/twenties) buying them. The gimmicky mods seem popular to

The Scion TC are better then the new Honda Civic's.

I know the guy with the U.S.'s fastest street legal TC. He has had some major work done to it. And it will throw you back in the seat hard.

I was going to buy one. But I don't fit being 6 foot 5 inches. What a bitch.

When you can buy a real sports car and invest a few thousands and run 9 secs on a quater mile.

I know what guy you are talking about, he had to change every component on that car.

I mean even a reguler TC with a turbo does 13 secs on a quater mile, that to me is not worth it.

I haven't seen him for about half a year now, ever since I got stopped for "street racing" I never saw him again. He may have totalled it or moved out of the area, cuz I never see the car now.

Can't say I have really had that problem yet. I consider mine to look pretty sporty to. I am not a big fan of them either, as stated even with the TRD vortech blower your looking @ low-mid 15s. Its not a race car by any means. I didn't buy the Fusion to run it into the dirt. I have a Mustang for that, which recently went 11.2 @ 124 w/o the juice

New 08's look good. Not much of a difference between the 07 and 08. I just built mine and priced it out to just under $22,000. It's not all that bad looking, I chose the Nautical Blue, with the 18 inch rims, and I also chose the factory cat-back sport tuned exhaust. It came out really nice.

I love the outside styling, looks sporty. I haven't test drove one yet, so I am not sure how they perform. The only downside I can see, is me being 6 foot 5, It might be a tight fit.

The only downside I see is that it's a Japanese import. I'll pass. Just my opinion. People do have a tendency to want to rice these Scion's right off the lot.

with me it is escort ZX2's. I have had my fusion for just under a year and i swear i have had diff kids in ZX2's want to race. People it is a fusion. yes i have made mine look a little more sporty but it is a fusion. 1 kid pissed me off enough that i did race once. there is a stop light heading out of a small town on a 4 lane highway. right after the like the road goes to 55 then about 1/2 up the road it goes to 65. for 3 days i got stopped at that light next to him. he rev'd it every day and for the first 2 days i let him go. the 3rd day i just nailed it. i figured i would get beat because well it is a fusion. But no i handed that kid is @ss. It was an automatic ZX2 with a fart tip on the back and to my delight it was slower than my car. he has never rev'd on me again and i see him about once a week now.

note: the 4 banger fusion also beats the 2.3l mazda 3...lol, raced my buddy the other night and i messed with my sct tuner, he was so pissed he got beat by a family sedan

LOL ya i know. i would not want to get beat by a fusion. hell my wifes Dakota will hand me my @ss. But then again she has 250hp and 300 Ft# of tq. I was very impressed with the truck on the test drive. i could piss off a few ricers around town.

my sister has a scion tc, no major work to it just some tints and some interior work, but everytime i am out with her its like race wars (my lame fast and the furious reference sorry ) at every red light. Granted my car blows hers away but im not gonna race every lil @hole in town like she does, granted i also dont need all the dents, scruffs, and dings she has from doing so either
