According to the Ford website the V6 has iVCT. Intake Variable Cam timing. If by "TRUE" vvt you mean both the intake and exhaust vary, then no. However, you dont always need VVT on both cams, depending on application. For example, Honda's Vtec and iVtec on a standard model would only vary the intake. On SI or Type R,S models, both intake and exhaust are variable. (these engines Rev and make power upto 8,000 - 8,500 rpm)
