Turn off sound when starting car?

are you talking about the caution chyme for the seatbelt itself?
If so, no you can't by programming it but the noise comes from a small speaker box close to your cabin fuse box. you could probably disconnect it or remove it but I wouldn't be 100% sure unless I got in there and looked into it with more detail.

Hi icon. :wavey: It sounds as though you are discussing the "BeltMinder" seat-belt warning chime. If that is the case, yes it can be turned off. Like many questions concerning our vehicles, the directions to disable the warning chime are located in the Owners Manual.
That being said, for the safety of those who may use or ride in your car, I would recommend against turning it off.

I'd actually prefer to move the chimer behind the headrest of the passengers. Nothing is more annoying than hearing that thing go off because they're too lazy. Should teach them a lesson. :lol:

Now THERES an idea! :lol: I never understood why they would only put the chime on the drivers side to annoy them, if the passenger wants to sit seatbelt less, annoy them, not me! Then again, I just do a seatbelt check and they usually get the idea after they bounce off the dash :lol:

As rude as it is, I've been slugging them in the arm to hopefully send my message. :lol: Can't really do that to my gf so I just pull over every time lol.

The first thing I disable in any car (this is why I'm preferring old cars and non-smart technology, it's no longer smart, it's just naggy) is anything that makes noise. I don't need to be summoned or nagged. Here's a good video on how to disable the chime! I just needed to know what it was nagging you to do. Why would you have your seatbelt on BEFORE you turn on your car? That's dangerous lol.
