Note: See bottom of thread for the most recent set of results.

The latest TrueDelta Vehicle Reliability Survey results have been posted. These are for the year ending September 30, 2007.

For the 2006 Ford Fusion, Mercury Milan, and Lincoln Zephyr, I have an average of 7.9 months of data on 42 cars. The stat of 40 successful repair trips per 100 vehicles per year (0.4 per vehicle) is better than average for a 2006 model, and is quite good considering that these vehicles were all-new.

For the 2007 Ford Fusion, Mercury Milan, and Lincoln MKZ, I have an average of 4.4 months of data on 39 cars. The stat of 39 successful repair trips per 100 vehicles per year (0.4 per vehicle) is similarly better than average.

Everyone who has been helping out with this research, thanks. Those who aren't yet helping out, please consider doing so. We especially need more 2008s, so we can provide a quick result for the new model year.

The latest TrueDelta Vehicle Reliability Survey results have been posted. These are for the year ending December 31, 2007.

For the 2006 Ford Fusion, Mercury Milan, and Lincoln Zephyr, we received an average of 9.1 months of data on 41 cars. The stat of 35 successful repair trips per 100 vehicles per year (0.4 per vehicle) is better than average for a 2006 model.

For the 2007 Ford Fusion, Mercury Milan, and Lincoln MKZ, we received an average of 5.4 months of data on 40 cars. The stat of 39 successful repair trips per 100 vehicles per year (0.4 per vehicle) is again better than average for a 2007 model.

No result for the 2008 yet; need more participants for the current model year. We do already have results for some other 2008s, including the new Accord.

Everyone who has been helping out with this research, thank you. Those who aren't yet helping out, please consider doing so. With larger sample sizes we'd be able to provide additional detail.
