If I were to get 18" rims what size tire would I need to keep the speedo from being off?

Any help is appreciated.

I have the 16" machined wheel. Not sure on tire size. I can't really find any 7" wide 18"s. I'm only seeing 7.5" wide ones. Will the offset still be 42mm.

Thanks

OK so your stock tire is a 205/60R16.  If you're going to go to an 18x7.5, you'll want something like a 225/45R18 or 235/40R18, for the closest fit, in terms of diameter.

I'm not sure about the offset question.

I'm still sitting here at work but when I get home I'm going to check out my size and then go to the continental website and find the tire and then get the specs. If it says that my tire is 25.7 or whatever inches tall then I'm going to go and find a tire that will fit that width and tire diameter and go from there. Hopefully I'll be able to afford a new set already. Chrome would look awesome on black. Thanks for your advise

We've fit 245/40R18's on our Fusion here at Steeda. They fill out the car nicely and there are no fitting issues.

Is that at stock height, or on your springs?
