Re: Things you DON'T Like about the Fusion, Milan, or Zephyr / MKS
Before I start, I want to say, I did not buy this I-4 Milan to be a racecar. I wanted a nice quiet four door sedan that had good leg room, ergonomics, a lot of creature features with decant fuel economy and of coarse, pleasing to the eye. This automobile fits that category, very well.
That said, as I have stated before, if I could have purchased this package with a six speed automatic and more final drive gear, I would have. I am still looking for a 40-mpg package of this size, without the complexities of the hi-bird. (Sorry All You Manufactures) I still don’t believe you have pulled all the rabbits out of the hat.
This I-4 engine is what I wanted and for its size, it really produces a lot of power but I need to focus in on one small factor that could have made it a better power package.
It seems to me that Mazda’s first four automatic transmission ratios would have been a better selection, to get the weight of the automobile, moving quicker.
