The thing it..a car like that should be able to do it in under 10 mins I'd think. I hear this SHO doesn't handle very well..I don't just want to go fast in a straight line..I want to be able to have fun with the car too.

10 seems a bit low for Nürbrunging, I would think at least 20 for that track if not more for a stock SHO

On top gear a pro did it in a ford transit connect in 10:07..

Wait are you talking about a section of Nürbrunging, or the entire circuit?

The whole thing..Jeremy did it in a diesel jag in 10 mins and the other driver whos name I forget did it in the transit in 10:07

:shock: Wow I didn't think a car could go that fast around the 17.563 mile course (don't ask why I have that number memorized because I really can't fully explain why)

I thought it was 14 miles but either way that's an average speed of 107 mph. Not impossible.

The Nordschleife section (northern loop) is either 12.9 mi or 15.2 miles depending on which version you take (easy/F1) but the entire Nürbrunging course is 17.563 miles long. What I really like that track :lol:

Guess that proves that I am just an Idiot! :lol:

So when do you pick up the SHO?

My wife said I could..........? 2 stipulations, she gets the 2010 Fusion and I would have to sell my 2004 Corvette . Now, I'm not a GM guy, but there is something about a C-5 Corvette that makes you grin when you just back it from the garage for a wash. Naaah, can't do it. I also average 28mpg with the 'Vette, and it's 1000 lbs lighter than a Taurus, handles better, and I'm sure alot quicker even with 30 HP less. No Taurus at that price, I wanted a evil black 'Vette from HS, and I'm now 53!
