It does look almost black in the shade or from a distance. More very dark redish/brown/purple in the sun or up close. One of those colors that looks amazing when it's clean.

Swapped my '10 V6 Mustang...
... for a Lava Red '12 GT premium MT. Loved the '10... but another 200 HP or so turns a fella silly. :woohoo:
I was planning to wait for the anniversary edition before trading, but don't really like much of what they did with the '13... and I'm more than a little concerned that they'll wreck the design altogether. Or add more electronic gizmos that may or may not work as advertised.
So say hello to 'Cherry'.. since Black Cherry should've been the obvious name for this color.

No side scoops (thankfully). I like the window louvers; don't like the hood thing. I'd take it off but I'm afraid it's drilled. I saw that mentioned somewhere...
