I just purchased and installed a set of 17" exel wheels (42mm backspace) from someone local. On the test drive I noticed a slight wheel noise. Took them back in the garage and checked the clearance - all spun freely and quietly. Drove to the store and sounded like the bearings were grinding. I put the factory wheels back on and no noise. Any ideas what might cause the noise with the aftermarket wheels?

I think I have it as well. While it dosen't occur often, I hear it whenever I make a sharp left or U turn. And I have 18s.

After some further research I think I need hubcentric rings. I checked the fitment on a website (didn't list the fusion - but the mazda 6 was there) and it showed that you need them for exel wheels on the Mazda 6. Anyone know if the center bore on the Mazda and the Fusion are the same?
