So as I look for a turbo/supercharger for the Fusion and I've noticed that in general most say not to go over 8psi or some where around there w/ stock internals. Are the internals for the 2.3 duratech THAT WEAK? lI mean c'mon I most turbo's usually run anywhere from 15-25 psi and even 30-35 psi. why are our numbers so low? what about our internals make them so weak? is it the engine block? what?

The Fusion's rods are the same as those in Duratec Focuses, and they are weak. But for a N/A engine, they are strong enough, and Ford wasn't going to spend more money making them stronger then they had to be.
I would love to upgrade the rods in mine for more safe of mind, but I need to rebuild the Focus first.
