I CLEANED UP THE FUSION THIS WEEK AND DROVE IT AROUND ALITTLE BIT AND MY NEIGHBORS WERE JUST STARING. LATER ON I HAD A NIEGHBOR COME UP AND SAID MAN THAT CAR IS NICE. I PULLED UP AT MY PARENTS HOUSE AND MY MOM SAID I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW THAT WAS YOU COMING DOWN THE ROAD. MAN THAT CAR IS PRETTY. I WAS TELLING HER HOW IT NEEDED SOME TINT AND SOME CHROME WHEELS AND SHE SAID LEAVE IT ALONE. LOL IT WAS GLEEMING IN THE SUN. THE BLACK PAINT REALLY SHINES WHEN ITS WAXED. MEGUIRES ALWAYS DOES THE TRICK.

I find that a lot of people still have no idea what a Ford Fusion is, and they/ve been on the market for almost a year, and NASCAR has been parading them around all season. But I still get a lot of "What kind of car is that?" and "Ford Fusion--what's that?" I really wonder how effective Ford's marketing department is here. For this to be Ford's "bread and butter" car, they're still selling alot fewer of them than the old Taurus, it seems to me. Everyone who sees my car likes it, but nobody recognizes it as a Ford unless they see that oversized logo on the grill.

I AGREE. I PULLED UP AT MY AUNTS HOUSE AND MY UNCLE CAME OUT AND THOUGHT WE BOUGHT A LEXUS AND WAS LIKE "THATS A FORD" NO WAY. THEN HE SEEN THE FOMOCO SIGNS ON THE GLASS AND STARTED SMILING CAUSE HE HASN'T SEEN THEM USE THAT SIGN IN A WHILE. GLAD THEY ARE GOING BACK TO THE OLD DAYS. GOOOO FUSSIIIOOOON

I'd like to know how "well" it's selling too. It takes time for a any new car to become known and be readily identifiable.

As for the FoMoCo on the glass as well as many places under the hood - old school baby - I like it!

I really like the old school too. They need to start bringing back more of the older things. Even the styling.

I don't know why they called the lincoln the zephyr because years ago they had a mercury zephyr. Why not keep it with the same name. But i guess it worked.

At work I have a window that overlooks the parking lot. I park way back in the lot on purpose so I can try to keep it new for as long as I can. Anyway, I noticed 2 guys in suits checking my Fusion out. I mean really checking it out. I have tinted windows and they were peering inside. Stepping back and looking at the car ect.. I keep this car immacualte clean... 8) Still loving my ride..
