Any spray on wax that you use on a wet surface isn't going to last that long, but if your putting it on weekly after a wash that shouldn't be a problem. This just means you will keep having to apply it weekly to keep up the coat wax to protect your paint. I use klasse on my car and even though it is suppose to last a long time, I still follow up with a quick detail spray every time I wash my car. Since your in Canada, I would imagine that the weather isn't always good enough for washing weekly, you would probably be better off using a regular wax (paste or liquid) that has acrylic in it, these can last up to 6 months. Stay away from carnuba wax if you want it to last a long time, carnuba waxes usually last about 30 days. This type of wax looks the best and gives the deepest shine but just doesn't last that long. But if your able to apply the wax as you dry weekly, there shouldn't really be a problem.
