I know this will probably sound crazy but here it goes.....

I had my Fusion since June 06. I have yet to check to see what size my spare tire is. :dunno: Hell, I don't even know if it's there, but I'm going to take the dealer's word on this. Just out of curiousity, does anyone know if it's a full size spare or a donut?

I have an 06 SE I-4, if it counts for anything.

I'm always amazed people don't know anything about their cars. I was always taught when you get a new car one of the first things you should do is locate the jack and figure out how it works on your new car. I suppose many people have AAA these days, but I know if I got a flat in the dark on the highway, I would like to know where this stuff is and how to use it before I wait 3 hours for AAA to show up. Maybe it's just me. Yes, it's a donut. Use the jack handle to unscrew the bolt holding it in place. The jack is on the right side of the trunk in the well!

True. I never said I don't know where it is or how to change it. I just wasn't really concerned about it at the dealership. I was just trying to get it home. And amazingly, the car salesman never showed it to me. I thought that was one of the things they were werequired to do. Oh well.....Thanks for the replies. Now I dont need to remove my subs inorder to check for myself.

Hi Dre1015. I'm glad you just mentioned having to take out subs in order to check the spare :D! I was also wondering why you simply didn't look in the trunk, but figured instead of questioning, I would just answer. The subs being in the way explains it!
Heck, that was an easy one!
Another mystery solved! :klavergreg:
Well, good luck with your Fusion!

Well, they have a checklist you are supposed to sign after he shows you all the stuff. If you were like me, you just said "I'll figure it out on my own" and signed without him lifting a finger. Ha ha ha

Damn, I have so much shit in my trunk. If I get a flat, I'm fudged. I would have to take out a whole crap load of stuff.

But I would get that flat fixed the very next day! Not like some ricers who have 4 donuts on their Kia Spectra's and they go 110 on the highway on them. It's so funny to see that.
