Sirius radio installation tips?

So it been a while now that many of us have had our Fusions. I know some here were wondering about Satellite radio installation. How many of you have installed it now? any do's and don'ts, what about the antenna placement, I just bought the Sirius Sportster and would like to keep the antenna off the roof or trunk but don't if it will work anywhere else.

Lets hear the reviews :)

Cheers

I installed my Sirius radio with no issues. I put the antenna on the roof and ran the wire behind the glass on the rear window, thru the trunk and under the molding to the front. No issues except the antenna on the roof.
I put mine on the dash (base of windshied passenger side) and it gets just as good of reception as the one in my Focus that is on the roof, so I'd recomend that route.
I have mine on the trunk, gets great reception.
i have my antenna on the rear deck on the interior, good reception no problems an no one notices it
Does anyone know how to get sirius radio to work or get it activated. I have an 07 fusion se, the window sticker said that I had six months free sirius radio but I can't seem to get it to work. I've tried everthing it says in the owners manual and still nothing. If someone could give me some information or tell me where to look if this has already been posted, it would be appreciated.
call up the dealer and get his ass on it.
Yeah I think thats what I'm going to when I go and get my free oil change this weekend. I Can't wait to see how much better satellite radio is compared to regular radio, If its as good as everyone says it is im going to subscribe when the free trial is over.

Sirius is SO MUCH BETTER than FM
When I had satellite radio in my PT Cruiser I mounted the antenna in the middle of the dash, as close to the front winshield as possible. I did not want it anywhere on the interior of the car, and it worked out just great. But, satellite radio is not worth it to me because I am not in my car that often.
Talked to the dealer today and I was told that if I push aux, I should see Sat1, Sat2, Sat3, and if I didn't that my car wasn't equiped with the free six months....... So big bummer for me I guess
