I'm really not a fan of the smiley list that we have going on here - there needs to be some more fun smileys (and some other bad smileys need to go away).

I was wondering if it'd be fun to allow the senior members to have their own smiley.

For example, :metalcord: could be

We can also duplicate some existing smileys so that :klavergreg: can be :joshers:


Just a thought.... it's very easy to get new smileys added, and making smileys isn't very tough (unless you want some crazy weird smiley).

eh, I thought I was clear enough at the beginning.........

Anyway, many of the smileys on the board are envoked by typing text in the following syntax.....

:some emotion goes here:

For example,

": oops :" (but without the extra spaces) creates

": joshers :" creates :joshers:

": twisted :" creates :twisted:

Actually, the reason I didn't get what you were saying is because I overlooked the : : in your first post when you had MetalCord's name.

For example, :metalcord: could be

When I read that, I didn't conceptualize the idea that putting a person's name between the : : was what you were saying.

I completely overlooked the colons and just read his name and saw the smiley, and wondered how the smiley would be incorporated in a senior member's post (avatar?). haha
