I've noticed alot of People Selling the new Xbox360 as of late. What do you all think we could do about this so there isn't any fraud? I think they all need to Write their name, date and Mazda3Forums on a piece of paper and take a pic of it next to the Item. I wouldn't want a scam. What do you all think?

Shall we edit the rules to say anything with a value over, say, $200 needs the picture Greg mentioned as the special consideration? As for that thread, I did mention the rules there and they provided the link from the eBay auction, but there's no real way to prove it's his pic. It would suck to get ripped off, but we do say that we're not responsible for losses....

I think that would be a great idea so nobody gets screwed. I think if they don't post pics in their first post their thread should be deleted.

The whole providing username on a piece of paper isn't really going over board IMO.....I mean you have websites like www.realpics.net requires users to submit a "salute" to prove that they're real and not some 40-year old with man boobs h: .

Other forums msprotege.com and such have that requirement and it actually works.. Also think we need to revamp the for sale guidelines... Ever since we were asked to be a bit more lienient on the no pic polocy alot of people have been taking advantage of that....

Really I think we're pretty restrictive already. I don't want to get TOO restrictive. Also, XBox 360 is no more expensive than MANY things sold.
