Well, I've finally hit a little over 7000 miles on my Fusion. While I'm still absolutely in love with it, the front grill is giving me concern. It looks like it's seen 100K miles of road! There are so many rock chips in it. I don't drive close to other vehicles, but it just seems like my grill attracts every rock. Anyone else noticing a lot of chips and knicks in their grill? Any good ideas to help protect it better?

I doubt it - that would be considered normal wear and tear. I also do a lot of highway driving and deal with the unfortunate dings, chips, bumps from highway debris. In another couple years, the plastic bumper will be totally pitted and these plastic things are notorious for fading too at the point. Maybe, one of those 3M clear bra kits would help.

For the most part, the paint on my bumper and hood is fine. Some occasional chips, but the grill has so many! It's not like they're sticking out, but they're noticable to me because I really do enjoy my car and hate to see it get beat up!
