by taking that resonator out you'll get a little bit of rasp at the top of the tachometer. If you keep the stock muffler, it will probably sound like a muffled rasp. You would probably get about the same sound as some of the v6 nissans rolling around. I haven't heard a v6 fusion without the resonator but from experience, that's what it will do.
If it you want a more exotic sound but less obnoxious, keep the resonator and throw some magnaflows or borla mufflers on with a 1/4" larger piping.
