Hi all...hope Santa was good to everyone...well...with this week off I decided to install my Razzi GRD FX kit....took 2 days...1st day (Weds) was front air dam & side skirt install...2nd day was rear valance driver side exhaust cutout & diamond mesh grill mod to match front inlet mod & the actual valance install. Let adhesive cure for a day...out for cruz today to assure all stays put...done deal. The Razzi instructions are quite detailed with pix of a Fusion being done and all hardware necesary as well as adhesive is included. I accomplished this install with a cordless drill & drill bits to predrill side skirt fastener holes along the inner door sills & wheel well fasteners, an Apex bit to screw fasteners in as well as duct tape to aid in hanging rear valance...and...did the entire install by myself.

Rear valance ready for driver side exh cutout & diamond mesh mod...

Front end with air dam & last Saturdays 'Nose job' mod...

Lets see...hmmm...next will be a tint job...researching coilovers (H&R & KW) with spacers... then ....the 'GO' factor will be addressed...

Hi NaplesBill, lammer & watufaka...THANX for all your compliments!!!! The rims & tires are stock OEM's for the winter as here in Mass the use of salt is abundant...so my Eagle Alloy 192's & Fuzion ZRi's were removed @ 3 wks ago & are safely stored till no more snow or salt.......yes..the install was done by myself...with the help of sum duct tape for the rear valance....otherwise....very doable by 1 person.

If anyone buys this kit or one similar to it, be aware of what happened to me.
I installed my Razzi kit on my 06 SEL last April. It was in primer and had sat for a whole day in my garage before I drove the car to my cousin's body shop to get the kit painted on the car.
Imagine my suprise when I exited my car at the body shop only to find that the rear valance piece was gone. The only thing still there was the mounting blocks.
After retracing my route I did not find the valance. I was frosted to be sure.
Best guess was that it had come off on the freeway when I drove through some major pooling of rain water (It was pouring rain), and the drag from huge amounts of water ripped it off.
The valance ripped cleanly away from the rear bumper taking the all the adhesive with it.
The spots in the rear wheel openings where Razzi tells you to screw into are just thin inner fender plastic and the screws just ripped away clean and yes I did prep the mounting areas per the instructions.

Razzi was truly great about this. I had been one of the first to get their kit. They sent me a new valance with my only having to pay shipping.

I did several things differently on the re-mount.

First I used pan head bolts backed up on the back side of the inner fenders with giant stainless steel fender washers to mount the valance.

Second, I used 2 part (quick-cure) windshield urethane for the bonding adhesive and lots of it.

The other thing I did was to fashion 2 brackets out of 1/8" x 5/8" flat steel bar approx 32" long.
These brackets get a 5/16" hole drilled into each end. One end of each bracket gets mounted to a stud that sticks out of the bottom of the rear trunk pan. The other end gets bolted to the rear lip of the valance panel.
Simple and secure.
That sucker ain't goin anywhere now.

Hi RockLAX....All my pix r posted on CarDomain.com under Fusion's...SGsFUZION...about the 3rd or 4th page back?...those pix can be clic'd on & enlarged. I am very pleased with it...easy install...been on the hiway @ 80+/- without issues...most of my driving is backroad 45ish 2 & from work though. Shop around on the net for best price painted & shipped....got mine @ BuyAutoTruckAccessories.com.(John) for @ $1200 painted (UA Silkens) & shipped ($50) including the spoiler last fall.

Hi Jaysen...THANX!!!!! ... really appreciate the compliment & support...& ...i'm not done...tint (lite) is coming next(sooon)...did a HOOD SCOOP thread......will definately wait 4 an aftermarket hood ! ...but am researching a front brake air intake mod 4 my air dam...checked sum scoopies out...nothing applicable yet....but stumbled onto a 'NACA inlet duct' mod a guy did on his car...looks good & very doable & really inexpensive. I'll keep u all posted on this one.

Hi SVTFusion...sorry to hear of ur misfortune...I've heard Razzi is very customer friendly...they've been around for a while. I took extra care on the rear valance 2...alot of marble sized goop was applied...did the larger panhead screws (3) in each of the fenderwells 2...do like ur addition of the support brackets...good idea...will check it out at sum point....as i live in New England..its freeeezing arss cold now...even in the garage.
