anyone else have a very loud rattle that comes from there dash i took it into the dealership and they said it was comming from my indash tv and since i am a mechanic i knew this was not right so i said okay and took and placed the factory cd player back in still rattle like crazy so i took it back again that had it for about 2 days and called me and said they had know idea where the noise was commin from they tore that dash all apart so a engineer from ford is comming to look at i hope somthin gets done about it.

Is it an actual rattle, or the yucky sound that occurs at light tip in around 40 mph? There is a tsb for that. I have it and it does sound like a rattle, although it is not. Someone did post about it being cured. Something about insulation for a brake line.

I understand there is a new TSB out for that too with a more defined procedure to fix it.
