Hi mrc. :wavey: Not dumb at all. Certain models of the Fusion/Milan, and all MKZ's, have "puddle lamps". They are small lights at the bottom of the left and right sideview mirror housings. They light when you unlock the doors/open the doors. Ostensibly to help you see what you might be stepping into (in the dark), such as a "puddle".
