Custom work will consist of 18" stainless tips, chopping off the two rear mufflers, leaving only the forward resonator. I've done that same thing on my SVT Focus and it did not increase the sound too much, although deepening the sound.

Second option is the Magnaflow. Magnaflow is about double the price -- but it's engineered to do what it's supposed to do, you know?

You pick!

I'll vote for whatever compliments the sex appeal of your car's lines and doesn't look too riced-out. You did a very nice job with your exterior mods. Subtle yet distinguishing...you should keep the exhaust the same way IMHO. Custom? I have no idea what an 18" system would look like...can't picture it right now. Its not going to be two huge fart-cans, right? What looked good on your Focus may not fit the looks of your Fuse. Any prototype pics?

Bob, I'll be calling you mid-afternoon tomorrow to get a price from you and your guy. I am wanting that system.

No, I dont have any prototype pictures. The 18" would be the length of the tip -- not the diameter. I weould use about 3.5" diameter pipes, no fart cans!

Thanks for the comments, man!

I am wanting to buy, but I just spent some money on another project that I haven't mentioned over here, yet.

I am still playing with numbers, and I need to either shit or get off the pot...

I really want to get it...

not sure if anybody cares about the exhaust post anymore but i went to a local muffler shop in my town and we cut the stock muffler off and left the resinator then we welded a flowmaster delta 40 series in place of the stock muffler and then we put a chrome dual tip coming out the back ,and it doesn't look to bad the sound ,well when you start the car it sounds cool, but after you start driving it at low rpm's it has a nice hollow sound and as you get to the higher rpm's it is hard to hear.just thought i would add i have a Milan 2.3L 5 speed manual

Stick with the magnaflow. You get stainless steel. I had a custom exhaust on my truck and it only lasted about 3 to 4 yrs with about 5k miles a year. Custom is a little cheaper but the magnaflow will last a long time. Ever notice how long the factory exhaust actually last. A custom exhaust won't last that long. You can how ever get a custom stainless system put on but that is going to be more than the magnflow kit. GO MAGNAFLOW.

I have the magnaflow catback system for my v6 fusion and it sounds really nice without the air silencer now, its not extremely loud but once they come out with header and intake itll make a difference.

I dont have a video camera yet but im hoping i will get one soon to make some videos, i will show you some pics of the back end the tips are beastly and it looks and sounds good. I see that you have a chip or programmer is it worth the price and does it give u good performance results?
