open the tail lights?

does anyone know how to get them apart and will they seal again or will they fill with moisture. I want to do something similar to this.

I agree, the rear bumper is sporty enough to pull it off. Actually, if they would have blacked out that lower center section like you have it would be even better!

It also looks like they got the SAP black chrome treatment on the rear trunk strip too!
Bigmitch hit it pretty square on the head.

Take out all the screws and anything else that is connected to the tail light. Preheat your oven to 250 degrees and bake ur lights for around 10-15 min. This will heat up the sealant and the plastic and they will pull apart. Whatever you do dont rush. Take your time. I suggest takeing off the glue that was there before and using silicone to put them back together.

before someone thinks im pulling their chain this is how we all do it on another forum for our cars. To get the cleared corners affect as well as painting the Bezels Black.



still having a hard time believing it then heres another thread. (most are done with headlights but tail lights are done the same way)
