Ya know, I really do try to like Mazda3Mike, but then he goes and gets himself involved in whining about the "inequities" of the forum.

That's the one thing he never learns. Helping to "enrage" the general public is not something that endears him to... ANY ranked member, I think.

I was one of the few that actually supported his nomination last time. I have tried so hard to be reasonable with him, then he just goes back to being a little bitch complaining how things aren't fair. I tell him to help others out, be nice, don't stir the pot - and it will be noticed and he'll be recognized. Instead, he takes offense to anyone who disagrees with him, no matter how nicely they do it, and whines to Moderators to shut the other person up rather than acting like a big boy and solving his own disputes. He may be a good guy, and a wealth of information, but I think there are others out there that are just quietly serving the forums. Let's recognize them.

Mike hasn't shown himself to be much a fan of our rules, so making him someone to enforce the rules (a Mod) would be pretty difficult

I'm not saying that I want Mike over anyone else (this really isn't my decision anyways since I'm not an SM) but in my case I find that I do more to help enforce the rules now that I have a banner under my name. I was merely pointing out that he may do the same.

i personally dont have the time/patience to moderate, plus my views opinions on things differ from a lot of others so, that wouldnt work anyhow, lol

Agreed, I don't have the time to moderate. I barely have enough time to get some programming done on the forums. I've been slacking as of late.
As for other SM nominations, you can bring up RB again, then there is PRMazda3Girl. I don't follow her posts much but I hear awesome things about her. Fox Fader is another, although he is already a contributing member.

If PRMazda3Girl isnt made an SM she should be made a regional coordinator or something. I heard she organizes their meets in Puerto Rico.
