I am unlike a lot of you Fusion owners here. I have about 300 more miles before I hit 36000. Yeah, that sucks. My credit is not up to par, so I had to get it at a liquidation sale with 19500 miles on it. I plan on trading it in once my credit builds up anyway. That's why as much as I want to get a CAI, tunes, and a cat back, it would be a waste of money becasue I am not going to have it long. Bad thing is, there goes my warranty. :( Anyone elso out there in the same boat I am in? Might make me feel better.

Don't feel bad I'm closing in on the end of my warranty too. I think I'm at 26,500 and I haven't had it a year yet. It'll be a year on 6/21.

I would like to trade it in for an Acura TL or something close to that, if I be able to afford it in two years. Don't get me wrong, I love the Fusion. I like cars that have the luxurious look with the speed and sound of a sports car. The Fusion has that, but I like the Acura because it has a luxurious and sporty look. I am an Accountant so I like cars that has the look of luxury to fit my appearance on the way to work, but also a touch of sport for the weekend driving. May sound weird, but that is the way I am. Depending on how Ford improves the Fusion in 2009, I might get another Fusion, but it will definitely be a V6.

I'm with you Ceace on the Acura TL. I really like it but I want my next car to be RWD. I'll probably keep the Fusion for another year or so, and then go back to German or Japanese. I did my part for American owned (and Mexican assembled). I hope my next car has an Infiniti or BMW badge on it.

So buying a MKZ built in Mexico instead of a TL built in Ohio will help American workers?!

But as for the TL being more sporty then a Fusion, I'm not so sure about that. Wait until you try the 08 with the sport package.

Yes, it will. All the Ford white collar workers and many U.S. suppliers...
