Hahaha in my Sport AWD I'm getting pretty close to the EPA ratings... I get an average of 17mpg (~14L/100km) city and 29.4mpg (~8L/100km) highway. The city mileage isn't great by any means, but it doesn't change the fact that I love my car!!

20k miles this past year alone, 28 around town. 33 on the highway cruising at 80.

Keep the golf clubs, a few softball bats, and a couple rifles in the trunk.

I drive it down to 10 miles to empty, when I fill it up I can usually get 15.5 gallons in. Its a lease, so I am not too worried about the fuel pump.. Heck I am not sure if the fuel pump is in the tank, I know with a lot of cars, the fuel pump is cooled by the gas in the tank, so running it low exposes the fuel pump and can cut the life of it.

2009 SEL V6

Averaging 26-29 mpg which is mostly highway with 43mph average speeds per tank. K&N cia helped about 1 mpg.

Just completed a 660 mile trip to Chicago in the windy cold (25 deg F) with 70mph average speeds per tank and got 24.5 mpg.

* data according to trip computer

I average 18.5 MPG in my car. Just got 286 miles on one tank with "0 Miles To Empty" when I last filled up. It does fantastic on the highways though, as long as I don't get stuck in traffic on the M25.

There's 34k miles on my '10 Fusion SEL AWD, but I've owned it for less than one tank of gas. The reading on the dash varies between 19.6 & 20 MPG. There's been a lot of idling lately in the frozen weather, so that may improve as things warm up in a couple weeks.

Modded 2012 Sport with almost 50,000 miles on it - gas mileage sucks right now during the winter in Chicagoland. I'm lucky to get 285 miles out of a tank full and I'm running on an 87 octane tune.
