Almost 6K on the new '14 AWD Eco-Boost. You can see my 60% city driving, 40% highway driving mpg below. Not great, but it's about what I expected.

The only reasons I can think of for eliminating the V6 is that the 2.0 Ecoboost 4 does better in the EPA gas mileage testing, and maybe the V6 just won't fit in the redesigned chassis/body? I agree that the 2.0 EB does nothing for gas mileage vs the 3.0 V6. But the 4 runs great IMHO. And if you want a new Fusion you have no better engine choice.
