:( Anyone else have a noisy fan? I find it very distracting even in position 1. If the radio is off the fan seems really loud. The only way to stop it is to turn the heater all the way off, not really an option in a Canadian Winter!!! Any suggestions on how to quiet a fan? I wish there was an off selection on the fan switch!

Guys. Does the noise appear going certain speed, all speeds, above 40MPH? Is the noise coming from the dash, engine, rear of car?

Keep us updated on the situation guys, this is not good. I will keep listening for any noises on my car. :tense:

My wife Volkswagen Jetta has the same fan noise when the car is off and parked after long drives or on hot days. I wonder if this is normal operation for vehiclkes now-a-days. Who knows. :csweeney:

Howdy fellow Fusioneers.
Yeh, my fan ia noisy too. I even had the salesman show me another Fusion to see if it was the same way. Yep,,, they all do it.
Best I can tell is is appears to be coming from the defrost vents. I guess it is noise as the air blows thru the heater plenum,, I don't think there is any way to fix it.
When the blower is switched to anything other than a heat position,, it doesn't seem so bad.
Wish I had turned the blower on during the test drive.

Happy Motoring

I assume your talking about the heater fan? Just got mine last week or so and find the fan to be quiet, except when you crank it up to defrost the windshield. You must have something wrong. Go bug the dealer to fix it.
