Any one out there know how to install cabin filter (pollen filter) in sel 3.0 Thanks for any tips

was there a pollen filter shown in the recent thread showing the smashed up Fusion rental? It was the thread showing how the airbag deployed and came out of its moorings. I thought I saw a black filter in there, now, come to think of it, my cabin filter was white in the SVTF. Maybe the black one is just a standard filter?

I do not think that there is a cabin air filter. I heard that somewhere, just not sure where.

I have a 4cyl SE, my owners manual says NOTHING about a pollen filter. I can't say that I miss it, I'm not really sure how much benefit it is when you drive with the windows down on intercity or short commutes when the a/c isn't required. My van has one, and it's a PIA to replace and it's $$$. I think ford skipped a the cabin filter for the Fusion, for now anyway. I'd much rather have a back up sensor.

Nope, no filter, just another thing to spend money on anyway.....more marketing than anything else, after all you don't wear a gas mask when you walk around outdoors do you?

true true but it sucks becuase as soon as i clean the interioir dust is everywhere the next day.
