Ok I did not have time to tell you guys what the popping fix is until now... The "unofficial" fix is to either expoy two pieces behind the airbag and cluster or install shims in the same areas. There should be a TSB out in a couple of weeks. As soon as I see it I will post the number for ya. Since I was one of the first techs to call in about this problem, they called me this morning with a fix. I told Ford I would just wait until the TSB comes out and then attempt a fix. I knew there would be a fix. I know you guys doubted that there would be... But I had faith.... I'll update you guys soon...

My experience with Ford vehicles dating back to 1980 (my first Escort - one of the first ones ever built) is that they step up to the plate when a problem is identified.

Maybe this will make believers out of the skeptics in the crowd!

Ford gets it done!
