Just got my new personalied plates.  Not a big hawkeye fan but the yellow and black looks so much better than the stock White and Blue IOWA plate.

Looks better than our ugly PA tags. I keep thinking about a personal tag but am not sure what to put.

The standard Iowa plates do not look bad but they are white and blue so on a black car they do not look very good. We have something like 10 diff plates to pick from all 3 big schools plus a bunch of others. Kinda nice being able to choose what we want. Now it costs $25 extra for the plate and $25 more if you want it personalized but well worth it for the look if you ask me.
