so.... Short Version:

I got the New PCM reflash a couple of months ago and to my own fault I did not check everything before leaving the dealership. On a recent road trip to N.C. I tried to engage the cruise control and....... "NA-DA" (did not work). I remember seeing a thread on this awhile back but could not find it........ Anyone else experience this????????? Does this have to be reprogrammed manually????

You'll need to take it back to the dealer and have them add cruise (and traction control). From what I've heard, it shouldn't take too long.

I haven't heard of this! I bought my cars a few months ago so does it already have it? 2007 SEL AWD bought november 30. I didn't think traction control was available or going to be available. hmm..

From what I understand, the TSB was for 2006 (I'm assuming Ford fixed the issue for 2007). As far as traction control, they have to re-install it just like the cruise control after the reflash. However, they won't/can't add it if you didn't have it to begin with. I'm speaking of FWD- I would assume TC was integrated into the AWD system and not a stand alone option.
