Does anyone have pictures of a 2010 fusion with a aftermarket double DIN stereo installed? I'm planning on getting a Pioneer avh-p2400bt this week was hoping someone had pictures so I'd have a idea what it'll look like before I buy the headunit and install it

i just ordered the Pioneer AVH-P3400BH! can take up to 2 weeks for me to get it though. if you shop around online, I think I found the best prices through Amazon which enabled me to afford the 3400.

here is one pic i found with google image searching:

also, i read something that said it was a direct fit... does that mean we won't need a wire harness adapter, do you think; or does it just mean that maybe we won't need a mounting adapter. I Know Nothing. I did order a steering wheel adapter and an override for the hand brake so that i can use the blue tooth phone while driving; And i ordered a backup camera that mounts to the plate and wires into the radio. I'm stoked.

As far as that picture, his head unit seems to be recessed too far for my liking. I'm hoping I can flush that out maybe spacing it with washers. There are other pics of the pioneer series in other fusions if you google image search or look on youtube.

Otherwise, I'll be installing mine into a 2007 Milan as soon as I possibly can (a couple weeks probably). I can put pictures up if you want to wait that long.
AAaaaannnnd, now I look when you actually posted this. way to late to help you I bet. So, how did it go? Installed??
HAHA, wow. just noticed. I showed you your own radio. sheeesh.

Hi Cinjent. :wavey: Normally, "direct fit" means that it can be installed and will fit in the dash with no modifications or alterations needed. Wiring harnesses/connectors will usually (but not always) be needed.

Good luck.
wellp, the guy at crutchfield said i would need the wire harness, antena adapter, and mounting adapter. So i ordered them. hopefully he didn't mislead me and waist my money.

and thanks.
This, intended 150$ project has become a 450$ one.... oh boy. well at least i'm getting everything I want out of the deal. EXCEPT, i would have liked if my android could show navigation and videos through my head unit. everything is geared for the Sacred Iphone. Why? Android has Got to own at least half the market. Actually, I know for sure it has more than half. So why is the Iphone so sacred? Now, i realize there is a unit designed to work with the android, but it's just a screen in the dashboard. the Iphone has Real head units that cater to it.

rant over.
very nice. thank you. however, proper head units --down in my price range-- are fully integrated with iphone. not, yet, with android. eh, given time i'm sure. but then again, I just spent my radio upgrading money.
maybe the next car.
I have an '06 Fusion with the AppRadio2 I installed. If you just listen to music via iPod or iPhone, I HIGHLY recommend this unit. Pretty easy to install. I also added a rear camera. Here's the pic.

I installed a pioneer avh-p2400bt in my 2007 Ford fusion and it won’t turn on everything is connected but I can’t find anything about what shouldn’t be connected or if it’s something weird
