I installed a Pioneer Avic-D1 in my Fusion SE... Love it, never been a fan of any factory audio system.  Nav works very well as long as you install a speed reference adaptor.  Without the speed reference my Nav unit would sometimes show my position off by about two blocks for a couple of minutes before correcting itself.  Not a desirable quirk in a device you depend on to get you somewhere.  I've attached a pic in case you're interested in seeing the finished product...

>...I have the Garmin IQ pda unit with car kit that sits very nicely on my SEL dash. It has a charger/speaker unit the fits in the power outlet. The nice thing about is that you don't have to take your eyes off the road at all as it is in line of sight. Also gives you turn by turn voice instructions as well. Great lil unit and can be transfered to any car. You also don't have the restrictions of programing it while moving that many of the head unit models have. The passenger is free to program it to search for whatever you want.
