ASA JH8's in black w/machined lip. They are the ones off tire rack. They will be wrapped in 245/30zr20 BFGoodrich KDW's. I will post the pics of them when I get them thrown together Friday. I would like to see the car with the EBC brake rotors I ordered from Jusnes, but they sent the wrong front ones and are still trying to figure it out. I think I'll bolt them up anyways and powdercoat the anchors/calipers and put the rotors on when they send me the correct ones. PICS TO COME SOON.

Well, until they wear out after 12-15,000 miles anyway.

If they even make it that long. With a 90 load rating that tire is over 100lbs underrated for the Fusion. If you don't have radical plans to take 200lbs off the front end of your car, you're flirting with danger.

i hope you do not get snow there. The SRT-4's come from the factory with KDW's and they are not even snow rated. Good friend of mine has one and had to buy new tires a month after getting the car new because it snowed.

I've asked this question on another thread before and didn't get it answered. Please explain the load rating and why that tire would not be sufficient for a Fusion. I always thought load ratings were to keep you from putting a car tire on a truck. An explanation would be appreciated.

I love the way the KDW's handle, I have them in a 245/45zr18 on my t-bird. They look pretty wicked too. I will run the Stock 17's in the winter, not only for the sake of traction but for the sake of the nice wheels. I don't mind that they wear fast, to tell you the truth they not even doing bad at all on the bird, and it's probably close to the same weight, maybe more (don't feel like looking up the specs. on the internet but feel free to). I don't think I'll have a prob. replacing the tires, If I wanted an economy tire I would buy one, but these are killer.

They are a good autocross tire that is what my friend with the SRT-4 uses his wheels and tires for. But i did notice one other thing when riding with him those tires are loud. Must have something to do with the large tread.

Got the 20's bolted up Thursday night and they look killer. Ride quality isn't as bad as was expected, but they are damn loud, especially from the rear. Hopefully when I dynamat the car for the stereo this will kill most of that. I'll post some pics Sunday evening after I spend all of Sunday washing and waxing. I washed it Thurs. night, but already it is dusty. Dang black cars!

Wheels are ASA JH8's in black w/machined lip wrapped in 245/30zr20 BfGoodrich KDW 2 rubber. Didn't get to clean it up this weekend, but I knew people wanted to see what it looked like, so enjoy.

Does not look bad at all. I decided not to go with the black wheel with polished lip just think it would be to much black but it does look good

bOOM,
Looks stealth, are you going to lower your Fusion? I'm leaning toward 245/35/20s, Pothole Pa. Did you get an allignment after the install?

It's on Eibachs, I lowered it and aligned it about a month ago. go with 245/30zr20's if your getting a 20x8 wheel, there is more sidewall than you think, and the ride isn't that bad. I dodge potholes with the factory wheels/tires anyways. I guess I'm just used to it.

Boom,
I'm going with Eibach also, how much of a difference did you notice in the car once it was lowered?

The wheels are 8.5" Still iffy on the tire size...once i eyeball the difference of the 35 or 30 and it warms up here i'll pull the trigger.
They are calling for 9 inches of snow here so will see how the Fuse handles in the slop.

kivfusion, you won't really notice a huge difference, especially with factory wheels still on. I didn't think it was that big of a change, until I pulled next to a factory ride height SEL.
