I picked up my Fusion about two weeks ago and of course I wanted
the SEL but they did not have any on hand or on order so I had to take
what they had to get the great lease rate. I've had the windows tinted
so far (35% on the front, 25% on the back and 5% on the rear) I however
did not want the 5% on the rear so I'm trying to figure out a good way to
have it changed out without damaging the defroster lines. I'm also looking
at perhaps using a rear mounted camera to assist in backing up in dark areas
as the 5% is extremely dark at night.

nice! 8) Congrats and enjoy. How would the rear window tint hurt the defroster? My rearwindow tint needs to be fixed/redone so your comment has me worried that it may cause me trouble.

When they go to remove it, if they are not careful they can damage the defroster strips. I have seen online
kits that repair those metal strips so hopefully they're available at Autozone or comparable place. No place
locally for me can guarantee they won't damage them so I'm thinking I may just go with a rear camera kit.
