Looks like a Fusion/500 mix nock off kind of deal. Especially the grille. Why does ford have to use the same grille on all of there vehicles. Let one car have it so it doesn't look like another.

Just in case you haven't noticed, the Edge's grille uses the same three-blade look. While the new '08 Focus uses the same theme but with just two "blades." Supposedly, it's Ford's new trademark look. I agree with you, though, it's ruining the impact by having it on so many models. It becomes a "look alike" thing.

I completely agree, it is almost like 1988 when the Mustang / Escort / Tempo all had the same general front end styling going on.

I like it on the Fusion and Edge, just wish it could be more "unique" to a couple of models rather than a corporate front end.

Yeah but on the edge it works. I tried to look at the edge and I couldn't see any other styling on it. The new taurus however looks so much like the five hundred that they should have just left it alone if all that they were going to change is the front end.

The whole thing where Ford uses the blade style on all of its vehicles is normal.

I'm trying to think of other companies that do the same.
Nissan (trucks and suv's)
Volkswagen
Saturn
Pontiac
BMW

It's all common, doesn't really bother me at all.
