Not much activity in here. What is there only Bramptonfusion? I am thinking of ordering a fusion. It will be a company car. Currently driving a 06 Freestyle. I don't need all the space anymore. My last vehicles where all trucks and SUVs and I never wanted to drive grampa's car (taurus) but I did take a Fusion out for a drive and may consider it. I was thinking of Black or Red.

I got the black SEL V6 fully loaded... less the side impact bags. 20% tint with the 3D carbon spoiler

Couldn't afford the Mustang lease payments... couldn't bring myself to pay $200 more a month for the Zephyr, so I kind of settled on the Fusion.  I've had nothing but compliments.

I'm loving it.

Hi Guys

Got the Fusion also as a company car.SE I-4 for the gas milage .It was the perfect fit for my allowance. So far the milage has been averaging 9.3 l/100 km(about 75% hwy)10.5 K since delivery end of March.Lots of compliments on it ,people like the standard features. All I got was an auto tranny on it so the wife could drive it so it is basically bare bones stock anmd is still a nice car.

Hi I just got my 06 Fusion V6 SEL with the side air bags last week.

Love the car so far and had many compliments except my son who thinks I made a big mistake buying my first North American car. Always bought Nissan and Hondas before.
I leased it for 4 years so we will see.

The colour I got was Tungsten Silver with Black interior.

Are any of you buying snow tires this winter ?

Hi Lammer, small world. I graduated from KCI a long time ago lol.

I will see if I can still use the snows I kept from my wifes 98 Maxima we just traded in. Wheels won't fit because of the bolt pattern probably but the tires are still in great shape.

I read in another post you had that you got the rear lip onthe trunk. How is that working out ? Just taped on right ?
Good chatting with you. Let me know if you are ever up my way.

Paul,
The lip spoiler is the one they sell directly from the dealership. Looks great, but I'm not sold on the "taped-on" application. I've already had it in, to be redone once, it had lifted at the ends from the summer heat and humidity, and looking at it again this week I've noticed it starting to do it again. I'm sure it'll never come off but the ends look like they are letting loose again. I wish they would just drill some holes and attach it with bolts.

Hi Lammer, yes the lip I think looks better than the wing because of the high trunk. But the tape is a bit of a pain. Perhaps the black colour you have makes it hotter in the summer or they didn't prep it right. I am thinking of getting one from the US and bypass the dealer altogether because of the price but I am going to check.

Raining buckets here today and used that Rain Away onthe front windshield before picking my wife up in TO. Hardly had to use my wipers.

never seen the Canadian forum until now, purchased end of August, Silver Frost SEL v6, enjoying the car a lot, getting real good fuel economy. Installed the Ford bug deflector, removed the stock exhaust resonator (love the new sound), and I have a Zephyr clock on the way to replace our factory clock (if it fits). I will get the windows tinted for sure, I'd like to swap on some steel wheels for winter but not sure I'll make it before the snow flies.

Hi JFusion,

wondered how your new Fusion was going. Mine is doing weel with about 7K in about 4 months.
Did that new clock fit in place of the Fusion one. ? Do you have a picture to show how it looks.
Got some original Ford Fusion SEL rims from California for 200 bucks. Plan on using them for snows next season.
Bye for now

Hi all
have had my Fusion a few months now
lovin it
just a few complaints
Noisy I4 engine (dont like going above 3000 rpm sounds awful)
poor rear view (thinking of the reverse sensors)
steel wheels (its a 06)
no fogs (retro fitting some though)
Black hard to keep looing good
all in all much better than my 02 Taurus I had before

Lloydminster,Saskatchewan . Fusion owner since March 24/'07. Anyone else been using steeda.ca. I ordered my strut tower brace through them, took 6 weeks. Coming on to 4 weeks now waiting for air filter cleaning kit for cold air intake. Much faster dealing with steeda.com, especially with our money doing so well. Just sucks seeing american fusion commercials and their price is so much cheaper than ours for some reason. My car in the U.S. was close to $10 000 cheaper. Sorry for being all over the place with my rant.
