Did my shop screw the pooch here? I had the tranny in my 18 SE Hybrid replaced under warranty in September due to loud howling while the gas engine was running. It's been fine until recently when I noticed it was starting to leave a puddle of fluid when parked. I pulled the undertray, cleaned everything off well, and after a short drive I was able to find a drip that I traced up to the left output shaft. Shouldn't there be a seal there similar to the other side?

Diagnosis for posterity: seal was not missing. When the dealership replaced the transmission, they didn't properly tighten the output shaft, so it's been wobbling and trashed the bearing leading to the leak. They are replacing the entire transmission. Again.
