Honestly this is not our light, original RED OEM.
Our LED light up all the way.

Attention! YearOfTheRat brought very good point. The 3rd brake light may not work on hatchback '07 and UP, only before '07:

In regards to the 04 - 06 hatches they mount within the factory housing behind the rear glass:

It mounts with an " L " bracket behind it which attaches to the housing.

Pardon the ignorance but why do the reflectors need the LEDs in them? I'm interested as I like the smoked look, but don't quite understand the functionality of the LEDs.

You can hook up the LEDS to work with your parking lights or with your brake lights, and have the sides work with your turn signals.

I have my rears hooked into my brake lights and plan to do the sides as turn signals.

Just an added bonus, looks good.

Ahhh...OK. Is the wiring easy to do? And does the smoked part reflect like the red OEMs do? I'm assuming if it did, it would reflect white?

Yeah wires are not that bad to do, just gotta strip some back and hook em up.

Reflects white, I think your right. But at night, they would be lit up and show red.

The 3rd brake light is a 15 LED version....can we get the 9 LED version?

I have a Mazda5. Of the four smoked LED's/reflectors - the M5 needs just two.

The M3 side reflectors are identical to the M5 rear reflector. I am interested in purchasing a set (of 2?) 'side' markers that will fit my rear bumper. I'll see if I can post a picture later.

Would the price be cheaper for me as I'm only needing 2?
Can you break up the set of 4?
