been a member here for a little while now... been working on getting a Fusion... can't actually go buy the car till i sell the Cobra though. After about 2 months trying to sell this car, it looks like i have a solid buyer. HOPEFULLY the dealer still has the Fusion i want...

2008, 14, SEL, Light Sage

we'll see what happens. wish me luck.

i like both the Milan and the Fusion... at first the wife ONLY liked the Milan... i'd rather have a Fusion... but we found this great looking SEL and wife totally fell in love with it... score!

yeah, i'm selling the Cobra and buying a 4 cyl Fusion. When you run into some finance trouble, you make cut backs. Selling the Cobra is the hardest thing i may have ever done. But when the deal is finished, i'll have a large down payment for the Fusion and i'll have all my credit card debt paid off. I'm in the Air Force and i'm getting out and returning home this coming april, so i need to cut back my expenses. We actually just refinanced the Cobra a couple months ago... so if i buy a new car, i won't really affect what i shell out every month.

There WILL be more Mustangs in my future... I've owned 8 of them so far and after selling the Cobra, i'll still own 2 of them.

I am either getting a Cobra when my fusion is paid off, or a mustang..

My dad had a 03 cobra, I fell in love with the thing. Theres no better feeling than being able to burn out when hitting 3rd gear when your allready doing 60mph...

definately a slick car... Just out of curiousity, how much are you asking for your cobra, so I know a fair price. I imagine the old cobra's are going to go up in style, and to be honest with you, I have driven the new GT500, and the car feels like it floats compared to the 03 cobra. I like the new body style, but the old style seems so much more aerodynamically sound, and doesnt feel like im driving an SUV.

Good luck with the sale, you'll definately be satisfied with your fusion! :)

oh yeah, i know i'll be satisfied with the Fusion. I've been a big fan of them since I first saw one. Great looking cars.
The Cobra is selling for $16,000... it's a 2001 and has 20,000 miles on it. It kills me to let her go, but it's the smart choice to make right now. The Fusion is gonna be fun. 8)

Good luck Dan, hope it works out for you! I checked out your Mustang page, you've done some nice work! Good photography too. Do you have some similar plans for your Fusion once you have it?
[/quote]thanks for the good words!

Once we get the Fusion, i will do some mods to it... probably just under the hood though.. can't really afford the body kit and i won't be too interested in swapping out the wheels, unless i can pull a good deal on a set of 18" Mustang fan blades.

i am pretty excited about taking delivery of the car and doing a few photoshoots with it. So, look for pics soon. :D

I have been doing wheels and tires for what seems like forever!

That's cool. I'm in Houston all the time, might go through you when I decide what rims I want towards the end of the year.
