I just bought a set of Luminics Titanium White H11 to go in my headlights...Does anyone have these installed? If so, how do you like them? I should have them by the end of the week.

And I bought a set of Luminics Ultra White H11 for my fog lights. I've read that others have these installed, so I've already read up on these.

Any advice?

I've experimented a little with these blue bulbs on other vehicles in the past.

The fact remains that halogens put out most of their energy in the yellow and red parts of the spectrum. The blue coating merely removes these parts, leaving you with - almost nothing! Sure, the human eye perceives them as looking whiter, but they don't put enough light on the road. They sure scatter though - often into other driver's faces. At a measly 55W power draw, I would consider them dangerous to install. Heck, I found the 85W blue bulbs too dangerous as important areas of the road were not being illuminated. Plus, my wiring harness was slowly getting cooked.

Be careful!

XenonExpert sells the real thing - powerful performance to match the looks. I just installed the 4300K HIDs, and I truly believe I'm getting over 200% more light onto the road. Contrast that with the 50% reduction you get with 55W blue bulbs. If you're not going the HID route, I strongly urge you to stick to the stock halogens. Your safety should be more important than the looks of those obviously fake blue bulbs.

Cheers

Well, you see, I don't have the $325+ to be dropping on the HID's. So for the money of what I bought, is it worth it?

In view of my previous post, I'm afraid no.  Those looks come at a terrible cost, maybe much more than the $20 you dropped on the blue bulbs.   :)

bassnutz, I have to agree with fused1 here.
Before I converted my fog lights and low beam head lights to a 8000K HID set up, I too was using 5000K Halogen light bulb... and to be honest with you.... although it did have the "white" light... it put out less light onto the road than the stock light bulbs did.

I don't have the $325+ to be dropping on the HID's.
Buddy, you see... even I am not that crazy to be dropping 3+ bills on a set of HID's.. HELL NO!
save up some money and go here http://hid-lights.com/.. where you can find an 8000K HID kit for as low as $219.00 for the H11 bulb size by GP Thunder
or go here http://cqlight.ca/index.php?cPath=33&osCsid=6e5fc4fde4ef1580fb7c83ef1d72d1eb where you can get an HID kit for as low as $209.99...

My suggestion...
save up some money.... even if it takes YOU over a month to save enough.. it will be worth it.

P.S.
If buying an HID kit... its best but the 35W once... so there be nothing to fry... like the 55W or 85W after market halogen lightbulb might.... which will cost more than the $200+, that you saved by not buying HID', to repair.

I hope it all makes sense. It's late at night and everything is kind of a blur.

Well, my bulbs came in and I installed them. I'm not impressed at all. They're too blue for my liking. I think I might as well just put the stock ones back in for now, save some coin, and buy the right ones this time. I should have asked this question before buying. :dur:
