Have there been any good lowering kits made for the Ford Fusion? I don't want to lock down my springs, but something that is legit and still gives the car a good smooth ride...

Steeda, Intrax, H&R, Eibach... Use Google!

i am going with Eibach

Same here Slater...Eibach.
Does $100.00 seem reasonable for the the install labor of lowering the Fusion?
I know some of the gearheads will say "do it yourself" and save the money but this is a job I would rather have done at the local speedshop.

I am going to do it myself but if i could find someone to do it for $100 i would do it in a sec. 3 to 4 hours worth of work i would not have to do.

My friend owns a customizing speed shop so he said he would do it for a Ben F. Not sure what the usual labor charges run for a lowering job.

Cold as a MOFO here in Pa.

Normal labor would be about 3 to 4 hours and any ware from $65-$100 per hour plus tax. So getting them installed for a $100 is a great deal. I would do it.

Slater,
Definitely getting the Fusion lowered Bro....just waiting for Spring (no pun intended) to get the new wheels...it snowed the day i drove my car home from the dealer on Jan 31st so it has not been clean much and with all these potholes popping up daily there is no sense putting the new shoes on till the weather warms up.

Hows the 2.3 on city mpg's?

Ya i got my wheels right away but they are off and down in the basement waiting until spring to get put back on. That is when i am going to do my springs and sway bar as well. MPG is not as good as i had hoped i am getting around 23 to 24 right now but that is with letting my car warm up for about 10 mins in the morning. So i hope it will get better when it warms up.

The Eibachs are a good choice for lowering the Fusion. They provide a nice lower stance, without giving a harsh, firm ride. I've had mine on for over 10k miles, and they've worked very well.

That is what i want something that drops the car so the wheels don't look like they are 2 sizes to small but still right like a family car not my mustang. Love my mustang but it will shake the fillings out of your teeth  .

HMW,
Thanks for the feeback on the Eibach's...Im pretty confident that its an excellent choice for dropping the Fuse.

Yup I agree..Eibachs on mine haven't deteriorated the ride at all...its less floaty yes, but the ride is not hard at all...
