LED mounting in sunglasses holder

I was thinking of mounting a green led to shine on radio, ac controls etc in the sunglass holder (acura TL has this and it looks good). I was thinking of taping into moon roof button since it is illuminated.

Any thoughts?

That would look great. I would like to do that to the glove box and the center console.

That is pretty cool. However I saw some cars who have the entire interior dome lights changed to like blue and looks hot when entering or exiting a car or simply if you just want to leave it on to look cool. Really neat effect.
My 06 SE doesn't have the sunglass holder and light on the front (no sunroof :() It only has the dome light in the middle of the roof. Any suggestions on where I can get it?

I think they added these later in the run for 06! I think the early runs did not come with the holder.
I have a JOB2 06 and I dont have it either. I just have the dome light in the middle of the roof. I know what it looks like though, my bro has is in his Mazdaspeed6 (no sunroof)
Maybe its just for the guys with sunroofs. I have job 2 and I have the Sunglasses holder and sunroof
No sunglass holder or sunroof here.  My previous car was a Benz and it had amber "ambient" lighting in the rearview mirror shining down on the radio, AC, etc and it looked great.  It also had it in the footwells and under the seats.  It wasn't that noticable, and but made it real easy to find stuff you dropped in the floor.  I've thought of adding some small LEDs to the footwells, but haven't decided if it's worth it.
